Flying and houseboating have always been a part of Dakota Columbia's family. Last summer, we invited a good friend and fellow pilot to join our annual Memorial Weekend celebration in his Cessna 185 and as they say, "the rest is history."

That weekend proved to be the best houseboating experience of the year! Two houseboats, good friends, great food, ski boats, perfect weather and a floatplane. What a weekend!

This is the inspiration behind Dakota Columbia's new Fly-In Vacation Program.  Starting this summer, we are thrilled to offer fellow pilots the chance fly their own aircraft to houseboat on Lake Roosevelt.  Vacation begins the moment you "shut 'er down".  We will provide everything you need: transportation, linen/grocery service, and safe keeping of your plane.
